So we went to Captain's Cove today for an early dinner, and we had a lot of fun. This is a picture of the boats that dock there, and when I first saw them, I knew that I was going to get a good picture. So today while me and the kids were playing in my room, I brought out the camera, and told Tyler to say cheese. He is really good at making good faces for the camera, and he photographs well. It only took one shot to get this one, which is pretty impressive compared to what it usually takes to get a decent picture with all of his energy. So we went to the the movie theatre in Newtown today to go and watch Wall-E. I couldn't tell you whether or not I actually liked the movie because I only ended up watching about the first 15 minutes. Yes, I fell asleep.. LOL! Well this is a picture before the movie actually started, so the seats weren't all filled yet. So today was Pizza Day! We made pizzas for dinner and they were awesome. This picture was taken while we were putting on the cheese. So today was the first day of school! It was a little hectic but we always get through it. This is a picture of a big pile of encyclopedias. I thought that the picture was a good idea because it portrays the idea of school through the books, and the confusion by having the books all scattered.

So today me and the kids went outside to play on one of our last days of summer. This is a picture of Princess lying in the grass with her tennis ball. So tonight, me and my family made a quick stop to Dairy Queen for some ice cream. This is a picture of the moon, but it was taken through a plant. So today was the last day of our cruise, and we had to wake up early! We had to be out of our rooms with our luggage in hand by 8 o'clock in the morning. This is a picture of the water that we had been in for the past 10 days. No matter where we were, the water always looked clearer than it does back here in Connecticut. I first took this picture because he has butter on his nose, but the actual reason that I chose this picture was because I told Tyler not to show his teeth, and this is what I got. So today is Day 7 of our cruise, and we went to Puerto Rico. We didn't have a lot of time on this island, so we spent most of our time shopping (quickly!). It was pretty fun, but we were really scared that we weren't going to make it back to the ship on time. This is a picture taken on the way back to the ship, looking down the street. So today is Day 6 of our cruise and today we went on a scenic tour and a beach tour of St. Thomas, and it was really cool. This is a picture taken from the bus that we were driving in. So today was Day 5 of our cruise and we went snorkeling in St. Maarten! This was my first time snorkeling, and it was so much fun! I took an underwater camera, and I can't wait to develop the pictures. Well this is a picture taken from the side of the snorkel boat. So today was Day 4 of our cruise, and we were sailing all day. This picture was taken after we ate our dinner in the dining room. This was a slice of carmel cheesecake, and it was awesome! So today is Day 3 on our cruise, and we have arrived in Bermuda! This is a picture taken just after making our way off the ship. In Bermuda, they have palm trees everywhere! This was taken just on the edge of a small bridge which palm trees lined the edge of. In Bermuda, all we pretty much did was go to the beach and relax (I do not recommend shopping there, unless you want to spend a fortune). So today is Day 2 on our cruise, and every night we get a towel animal on our beds. This night we got a swan, and these animals that they make are amazing. The towels are wrapped so tightly and bend so perfectly, that they look extremely professional. Well I hope you all had a nice day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
So this morning we left to go to Cape Liberty to catch our cruise. I was so excited waking up this morning, and I was really anxious. Well this is a picture taken from the deck of the ship, of a bridge that we were passing. It looks like the picture was taken in black and white, but it was actually taken in color. The bridge itself was just a gray color, and everything else looks gray because it was so foggy. Well I hope you all had a nice day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
I saw a picture like this on the internet, and I just had to recreate it. I thought it was so cool how the leaf was just there all alone between the pieces of wood. All I did was take a leaf from the tree and placed it between the planks of wood in the deck. Well I hope you all had a nice day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
So today was another day that we played outside. I took this picture by placing the camera in the grass, and I love how it came out, it is just like being a really small person and looking through the grass. Well I hope you all had a nice day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
So today when I was just browsing the web, I came across a picture of a flower on some black rocks in the rain, and I thought it was amazing. Well when I went to go and take my picture, it was not raining, but I worked with what I had. For this picture I took some of my rocks that I had in my room and spread them out onto the grass, then I found some flowers around the yard and picked the one that looked the best against the rocks (check out my setup). When I saw the picture through the lens, I knew that it was going to be amazing. I took it into aperture, and photoshop and did some enhancing, and made it look really cool.
So my cousin, Jonathan turned 17 today. We also had another birthday party to go to this afternoon.. ugh! At least we had fun at Jonathan's party. At the other one all we did was literally sit there for a couple of hours.. so boring! So this is a picture of the cake that we had at Jonathan's party. So me and my dad are going to the movies tonight, and we are going to see Step Brothers. This is a picture of some tickets from a big roll that we had in our garage. So today was the first day of the Beijing Olympics, and let me tell you, if you weren't watching it, it was LONG! Well, at least the beginning was entertaining when they were doing all the movements and dances and stuff, but the part where they were introducing every single country took a very long time! Well This is a picture of tyler holding the symbol of the olympics made of pipe cleaners. I blurred most of the picture out, but I left the pipe cleaners and his hands. So today was a very dark and stormy day, and I took pictures all throughout the day, and all of them pretty much looked the same. In all of the pictures the clouds had a bunch of definition and contrast, but they never had any color, except when the sun went behind them, like in this picture. Well this is obviously not exactly what the sky looked like, but I took it into photoshop, and made the color that it actually had really stand out. Then I took it into Aperture, and totally enhanced everything else. I made the trees more precise, and I thought the picture came out really cool. So we went outside to play with chalk again today, and Tyler drew a picture of himself. I think that he is pretty good at it by now. This shows that practice really pays off. He also is still learning how to write his name. The name on the top is my handwriting, but the one underneath is Tyler writing his own name. The only thing that he always forgets is to add the hair, I usually have to remind him. This is a picture taken with my phone so it is not the best quality, but I think it is still cute. So today was Tyler's real 4th birthday. We celebrated by having homemade ice cream sundaes instead of a cake. We had a lot of fun and they were delicious! This is a picture of him just before he blew out his candles on his ice cream. He was having cake batter ice cream, as did I, which is my new favorite flavor of ice cream! So today, me and the kids went outside in the driveway and drew with some chalk. I didn't remember how much fun it was until I actually started drawing. It was like I just let my imagination go wild on the driveway. It was really fun, and I even helped Tyler with learning how to write his name. I know it will take a couple more than one time to have him remember exactly how to do it, but it was really fun. This is a picture of the chalk that we used on the driveway. So today we had ANOTHER family party to go to! Surprise, surprise.. Well this one was for my cousin Kyle, and he was turning 4 years old. It was an ok birthday party, I mean we didn't really do much other than sit and talk. There isn't much to do at these family parties that are really meant for kids. So today was my nephew, Tyler's 4th birthday party. We had a Scooby-Doo themed party and it was a blast! Although we were pretty bummed that it was raining all morning, by about 1 o'clock, the rain began to stop. Well there were so many things for everyone to do, that by the end of the day everybody was DRAINED, and we all just wanted to sit down and rest! This was a picture taken after the party of a candle to represent that great day we all had. It is a very simple representation of what I did today, and I thought the picture was really cool. As some of you may not know, it did actually rain for about a minute or two today. I was looking outside when I thought I saw some rain drops, but I didn't really think anything of it when I saw the sun shining bright. Then when I went outside, I actually heard the rain hitting the canopy. At that second, I ran outside with my camera and took a picture of the flower that was wet, but I also had to include the sun in the picture.
