Just Before the Storm

So we were waiting all day for this big storm that was supposed to come. This "storm" only seemed to come around 8 o'clock! It was supposed to be this big thunderstorm with possible hail and winds, and all it was, was a half an hour little rain storm. All that hype for nothing. Well, this is a picture of the clouds about an hour before the storm. It was really cool how the sun was just trying to peek out of the clouds and just showed like a line of light. Hug Your Cat!

Happy Hug-Your-Cat Day! This Friday seemed to come up so quickly this week, I mean I am definitely not angry about that. So for today's picture, I took a picture of my cat waiting to go in the garage. Then, I took the picture into photoshop and made it black and white, changed the levels, and then changed her eye back to color. Huddle Up!

So today, the Masuk volleyball played the first game of the State Championships, and they won! This is a picture taken with my phone of the huddle that they had after the winning game. Golden Gate Bridge

So nothing super duper interesting today.. Although, today in 1937, was the day that the Golden Gate Bridge was opened. For this picture, I drew a quick sketch of the bridge and placed the paper underwater. I splashed the water around in the sink and snapped the shot. Good Catch!

Still camping! Today some of us went fishing in the little stream that they have on the edge of the campground. We were fishing for about 30 minutes and then Rob ended up catching one of these fish. Tie-Dye!!

Alright so we are still camping and today me and tyler made tie-dye t-shirts! It was actually really fun! The one on the left is Tyler's and the one on the right is mine. I only learned how to twirl the shirts and dip them by listening to other people. It was really fun to randomly twist the shirts in rubber bands and dip them and unravel them to see what they end up looking like. So we had a LONG volleyball game today! This is a nice action shot from the game taken with my phone. Underclassman Awards

So tonight, at my school, we had the Underclassman Awards. These are the awards that they give out to the freshman, sophomores, and juniors. I was given an invitation to these awards, but they don't tell you what you receive the award for until they call you up to actually receive it. Well I was nervous to find out what I got the award for, come to find out I got it for POOL! I get the awards for the classes that nobody likes. lol! Well this is a picture of my gift/award. I received a congratulatory card and a gift certificate to a sporting goods store. Pretty good for just knowing how to swim well!

What time is it?

Alright so today was not very exciting.. When I began to really think about my photo of the day, it was staring at the clock. I had NO idea what I should snap a shot of. When Amy just said that I should take a picture of the clock. When I began to take the picture, Rob decided that the clock should say 5/13 (the date). I thought that was a really good idea! Nap Time

Nothing really interesting to post today. It was kind of a boring day, but today Tyler was acting kind of out of the ordinary. He came into my room and told me that he wasn't feeling good. Happy Mother's Day

So today was Mother's Day and me and my brother in law decided that we wanted to make a breakfast for my mom and sister. So they both went tanning and to get their nails done, and when they came back, we had a nice little breakfast ready for them. We had pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon. It was kind of simple, but really good. They really appreciated how we set up the table and cleaned up the kitchen. I even made a menu for the breakfast that really tied everything together. Well I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves, and hopefully the week is good so we can have some interesting photos.

So today has been a droopy day. Starting with the fact that I had 3 tests in school. I mean these teachers need to realize that it is Friday and all the students are worrying about is getting home. Happy [Almost] Mother's Day!

Monroe Volleyball

So today we had a volleyball game at Masuk. As some of you may know, I am the manager for the Masuk Volleyball teams. I usually help out by doing the scoreboard for the JV and Varsity games. The results of todays games are that JV won 2/3 games and Varsity lost 3/5 games. Usually it is the other way around, the JV usually loses and the Varsity usually wins. The Varsity team is very good, while the JV team is not bad, but they are not as experienced. Well I'll talk to you guys soon!

So me and the kids went outside today to enjoy the weather. We went on the swings and we were playing with the flowers. I caught this shot with my phone so I know the quality won't be as good. Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit

Alright today is the first of the month, and you know what that means? "Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit!" Alright it might sound kind of silly, but according to the superstition, at the first of the month, you are supposed to say that upon walking. I hadn't heard about this since yesterday when my sister told me that if you say this, you are supposed to have good luck for the rest of the month, so yes I tried it, and we will see the results.
