The Darkness..

So today was a very dark and stormy day, and I took pictures all throughout the day, and all of them pretty much looked the same. In all of the pictures the clouds had a bunch of definition and contrast, but they never had any color, except when the sun went behind them, like in this picture. Well this is obviously not exactly what the sky looked like, but I took it into photoshop, and made the color that it actually had really stand out. Then I took it into Aperture, and totally enhanced everything else. I made the trees more precise, and I thought the picture came out really cool. Self Portrait

So we went outside to play with chalk again today, and Tyler drew a picture of himself. I think that he is pretty good at it by now. This shows that practice really pays off. He also is still learning how to write his name. The name on the top is my handwriting, but the one underneath is Tyler writing his own name. The only thing that he always forgets is to add the hair, I usually have to remind him. This is a picture taken with my phone so it is not the best quality, but I think it is still cute. Blow Out the Candle..

So today was Tyler's real 4th birthday. We celebrated by having homemade ice cream sundaes instead of a cake. We had a lot of fun and they were delicious! This is a picture of him just before he blew out his candles on his ice cream. He was having cake batter ice cream, as did I, which is my new favorite flavor of ice cream! Leaving Our Mark..

So today, me and the kids went outside in the driveway and drew with some chalk. I didn't remember how much fun it was until I actually started drawing. It was like I just let my imagination go wild on the driveway. It was really fun, and I even helped Tyler with learning how to write his name. I know it will take a couple more than one time to have him remember exactly how to do it, but it was really fun. This is a picture of the chalk that we used on the driveway. I decided to draw a couple scribbles first and then lay the chalk there so the picture was more interesting. Well I hope you all had a nice day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Another Birthday..

So today we had ANOTHER family party to go to! Surprise, surprise.. Well this one was for my cousin Kyle, and he was turning 4 years old. It was an ok birthday party, I mean we didn't really do much other than sit and talk. There isn't much to do at these family parties that are really meant for kids. Make a Wish..

So today was my nephew, Tyler's 4th birthday party. We had a Scooby-Doo themed party and it was a blast! Although we were pretty bummed that it was raining all morning, by about 1 o'clock, the rain began to stop.  Well there were so many things for everyone to do, that by the end of the day everybody was DRAINED, and we all just wanted to sit down and rest! This was a picture taken after the party of a candle to represent that great day we all had. It is a very simple representation of what I did today, and I thought the picture was really cool. Sun Shower

As some of you may not know, it did actually rain for about a minute or two today. I was looking outside when I thought I saw some rain drops, but I didn't really think anything of it when I saw the sun shining bright. Then when I went outside, I actually heard the rain hitting the canopy. At that second, I ran outside with my camera and took a picture of the flower that was wet, but I also had to include the sun in the picture. So I had the flower in one corner and the sun in the other. Well I hope you all had a nice day and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
