Over the Rainbow

So I finally got this shot done! I had made three complete attempts to get this shot, and I don't mean three separate shots, I mean three separate days of shooting this subject. I finally just gave up and used the pop up flash on my camera which I didn't think would have worked. I then played with the levels in Aperture and the background slowly disappeared!! That is the most important part of taking pictures of smoke.. when taking these pictures, you want the smoke to contrast against a completely solid background, and that is what I got :D I took this picture into photoshop to add the rainbow color, and it was actually pretty easy!
