Fenced Trail

So today I decided that I really had to take a roll of photos for photography class. Well I took my camera out in the SNOW and I took my shots. While I was taking this shot with my 35mm camera, I decided that it would also look nice in color so I took it with my point and shoot camera too. I really like that if you look really closely at the picture you can actually see small white lines from the snow falling. After uploading the photo onto the computer, I added a vignette to add another cool effect. Well I hope you all had a nice day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Lit by the Sun

So today while sitting by the fire pit at Longview, I decided that I should take a picture of one of the plants that was still growing. There aren't many plants that were actually alive, but this was one of the lucky ones. It felt like it took forever for the sun to hit the plant perfectly because I wanted the plant to be almost shining on the whole plant, but not the whole thing. When taking this shot, I wanted to make sure that the plant was the only thing in focus, and that the background was all blurred, and I am happy with the result. Come on in, We're Open!

So today was the first day that Longview Treefarm was open. It was so exciting, and after some people leaving without trees, we finally sold the first tree! It gave me the chills when I saw the family dragging their tree back to the car. It really makes me feel like they are going to have a better christmas because of the tree that they got at Longview. This picture was taken when the whole family was putting up the open sign, and I really like it because you can see everyone on one single picture. Save Me a Slice

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!
So today after eating ALL that turkey.. it was time for pie! What a difficult decision! I mean you have to pick a good choice because you want to make sure that the pie mixes good with all that food. LOL

Innocent Turkey

So today I got to leave school a little earlier and I got to go see Tyler's Thanksgiving show. All the little preschoolers sing a bunch of songs to celebrate the holidays, but I never usually get to go to any of the shows. Fiery Flower

So today while I was in the family room, I decided to take a picture of the flowers that my mom got on her birthday. They were starting to wilt and die, so I decided that I had to take the pictures now before they didn't look good anymore. This picture is definitely one of my favorite pictures that I have taken in a while. I really like macro photography, and I can't wait until I can get a real macro lens to have more fun with it. Death of a Season

So today while I was walking outside, I noticed one of the flowers that I had photographed months before that was dying. Stairway to Heaven

So today while I was outside with my camera I decided to lay down on the ground, and shoot a picture up towards the top of the stairs. I wanted to include some clouds, because I thought it really gave it a look of the stairway to heaven. I raised the contrast on the computer so the clouds had more definition, and to make them look more obvious. Well I hope you all had a nice day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
