So today I decided to go past my usual spots to take pictures and I went all the way to the edge of out property to take a shot just before the sun had completely set. I wanted to get a lot of branches going every which way in the photo, and I think accomplished that. I also love how the trees are all black with pops of color from the sun in the far background. So today we had an ice storm down here in CT, and that means no school!! I always get so excited when I read that one simple word.. "Closed". For such a little word it means so much. It especially means a couple extra hours of sleep. Well, against my mother's wishes I went outside to take pictures, and I can confidently say that I heard at least four or five big branches fall. The power had already gone out twice before I went out and my mom was afraid that I would somehow get hurt outside. Well I hope you all stayed safe today, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.

So today everyone around here is waiting for some snow, so I decided to take a picture that had to do with weather. To take this shot I set up my tripod in the front of a window. On the outside of the window, I sprayed water all over it with a spray bottle. I had to work quickly to get the drips in motion. I really like how you can still see our Christmas lights outside because today was the last day we had them up! =[ Well I hope you all had a nice snowy night, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.

So today I decided to take a picture of the thing that I am always staring at while I am on my computer. This "camera" is actually a piggy bank, but I think that it looks pretty real, especially in the picture. I am always looking at this camera because it is right next to my computer on my desk. So today I had my first photo shoot with an actual client! I was SO nervous, but I am pretty happy with the results. This is one of the pictures that I took that day, and I just had to make it black and white. I felt that it looked so much cuter that way. So today was a mall day, and me and the family all ended up our shopping trip at Target. Just before we walked into the store, I noticed the giant sign and how it was reflecting onto the REALLY shiny floor. I thought that it looked amazing, and I especially liked how you could see the shape of the tiles in the reflection. Well I hope you all had a nice day, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Let me start out saying that there is NOTHING wrong with me! I can just imagine people emailing me asking if I'm ok, and if I need someone to talk to because of this picture. I just took this picture to represent a mood. I got hooked watching two movies about teenagers who felt uncomfortable with themselves and with their weight. I wanted to express the loneliness that they felt in a creative way. I decided to turn off all of the lights downstairs except for the laundry room light and I set up my tripod and my camera on a timer. I sat at the end of the hallway and did a couple of poses, and I thought that this one was the most intense and best represented the mood that I was going for. Happy New Years!
So today I decided to take a picture today during another party. I wanted to take a picture to show 'tiredness'. I thought that it was a good idea because it showed the emotion that many of us were feeling these past couple days. I really like how the tones turned out in this picture too.
